Meet the Vets
Dr. Todd Hammond, DVM, MS, DACVO, earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1974 at Colorado State University. After completing his residency, he was awarded a Masters Degree in Comparative Ophthalmology in 1984. In 1985, He became a board- certified veterinary ophthalmologist. He attended the University of Texas medical school and Herman Eye Center in Houston, TX, for further comparative ophthalmology training. Dr. Hammond was an affiliate faculty member in clinical sciences at CSU from 1982-1987. In addition, he has presented at national and local meetings and has articles and book chapters published. Multiple times a year he travels a circuit to the western slope of Colorado to perform eye clinics.
